Recently our Chapter voted to participate in a study to see how BNI Networking Secrets would benefit our group. Each Chapter member received his/her copy and was required to listen to it within a 2 week period. Upon completion, we took a quiz given by our BNI Director, Asa Davis. I noticed within the first 30 days that the quality of referrals being passed were much higher. One of the biggest changes was how members "warmed up" the referrals and gave personal introductions to the member they were referring. This made initial contact of the referral easier and increased closed business within our chapter. After all, people do business with the people they know, like and trust. A personal introduction is HUGE in moving you up the credibility scale.
